Subdivide physical vessels using actual intersections with first-order tetrahedral/hexahedral background cells.

Preserve the complete physical graph, including exterior input portions. Integrate inside volume with additive vessel volumes, counting junction overlaps once per vessel. Collective: query locally owned background cells through sparse exchanges. Return intervals at physical owners, with numerical owners determined by midpoint containment (lowest rank on an interface); exterior pieces retain the physical owner. No source geometry is changed. The cell budget is global.
